TACASSIST 320X250 TAC MOLLE VEST - BLACK
Nylon plate carrier made from black nylon, will fit 320x250mm plates, manufactured specifically w/ TacAssist's plates in mind.
The frontal face of the vest has velcro MOLLE along its upper for attaching a name tag, unity badge, branch / division logo, etc. It consists of three MOLLE webbing straps linked w/out spacing. On the sides of this panel, there are four single vertical MOLLE loops for attaching smaller pouches horizontally.
Beneath this, there is a removable triple magazine pouch MOLLE attached on this vest. These pouches have flaps that peel open by means of webbing tongues. Behind this triple magazine pouch, is a velcro-sealable document pouch w/ a central webbing tab for splitting the velcro open. This pouch would be the second top layer and is attached to the bottom-most layer. This layer can be lifted up. to expose the vest sides which is clammed there between the bottom-most layer and the second layer. The two arm ends are attached to one another per bungee chord, looped through opposing metal eyelets. There are two such bungee chord pairs for binding the arms. This adds extra support, since side plates are an option on this vest.
Behind the inserted plate, there is a supplied 6mm sheet of low density foam for padding. There is another sleeve behind the plate carrying sleeve, for inserting aramid / kevlar, which is lined out w/ rain-coat
The plates have to be inserted from the bottom upward, which again is velcro-sealed.
The sides have three MOLLE webbing straps sealable on the interior by means of two velcro layers; one running across the middle and one across the top.
Along the front of the sides, there is an interior pouch coupled w/ a stud retention that can hold something in its cylindrical pocket. This inner pouch is on both sides. The interior is lined out w/ breathable mesh whilst the bottom length that will be pressing against the hip bones, have padding.
On the right side, included, you will find a MOLLE holster pre-attached that has bungee chord retention which is released by pulling the side-clip out. The side clip has in integrated 2-bar retainer for adjusting the length and thereby, the tightness of the bungee chord over the pistol backstrap.
The part that retains the top of the slide has a velcro ear that can break open to allow a pistol w/ a reflex sight mounted, to be holstered.
On the rear, there is a drag handle on top whilst the rest of the back is sparsed out w/ MOLLE. an IFAK MOLLE pouch sits on the rear, opened via two sizeable zippers whilst also sporting a lip to protect the zipper rail. The interior is lined out w/ water-resistant material.
The straps over the shoulders are mater-padded; layers of nylon compacting to form a measure of padding, but no actual foam inserted. The rear also has a sleeve pocket for inserting aramid/kevlar.
